Mississippi Moon Naturals is a family owned small  farm business in rural Southern Illinois.

Our family has been farming over 50 years on our rural farm.  We follow farming practices that are good for our earth and future generations.

We have a love of the land and all that inhabits our precious earth.

It is important that each of us humans do our part to protect our earth and its many beautiful wonders.  Our earth is far to precious and life giving to not protect and nurture it.

There is something to be said for the smell of the sweet fresh earth after a spring rain.  The honey bee traveling from flower to flower to  collect  necture and pollinate.  The birds that sing so sweetly  in a nearby tree. The frogs and crickets that entertain us with their song on warm summer evenings.

This past year has been very hard for our family. My husband Michael was diagnosed and treated for cancer last fall. He us still recovering from his illness. This past month we have been dealing with severe flooding in our area. The flash floods on March 18, 2008 caused much damage to our home. We are doing our best to deal with all of life's troubles at this time. We are hoping for brighter days this year.

On our farm we grow many vegetables, fruits, flowers and herbs. Nothing tastes quite so good as home grown produce right from the garden.
